Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships and driving sales growth for the car park management signage solutions. Additionally, the Sales Manager will lead the sales team, drive performance to ensure accountability across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the car park management sector.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
* Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
* Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management.
* Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the company
* Manage and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and accountability.
* Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
* Implement training programs and development plans to enhance team skills and effectiveness.
* Foster a results-oriented culture by recognising and rewarding high performance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably within the signage or car park management industry.
* Strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
* Experience managing a sales team.
* Excellent people skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
* A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
