SEN 1:1 Support Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with children with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other SEN? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a 1:1 Support Learning Support Assistant.

SEN 1:1 Support Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities: 

Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning challenges.
Address social and emotional needs of students, creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
Utilise behavioral management techniques to support students with challenging behaviors.
Apply various learning methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student progress.
Support non-verbal students in communication and interaction within the classroom environment.
SEN 1:1 Support Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning challenges.
Knowledge and understanding of social and emotional needs of children with SEN.
Strong behavioral management skills and ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors.
Experience working with non-verbal children and implementing communication strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN support or education are desirable.
