Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Qualified Science Teacher to join our team in Colchester starting in June 2024. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the fascinating world of science.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs.
Foster a love for science by creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
Encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Essential Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in science disciplines.
Experience teaching science at the secondary level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Desirable Criteria
Experience teaching science at GCSE and A-Level.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in science.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in science education.
