Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Prototyper / Pre Production Build person to work for an established POS/POP manufacturer based in Leicester
This position is a straight permanent position
The Job:
Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday
Salary is negotiable between £(phone number removed) depending on your experience
You will be expected to create first builds of new projects for it to be tested before going out to production
They specialise in acrylic fabrication, vacuum forming, screen and digital printing
You will be require to use circular saws, CNC's, V Groovers and Lasers
Be required to use AutoCAD drawings
28 days holiday per year plus Christmas shut-down and a day off on your birthday
About You:
Previous experience with acrylic fabrication and a good understanding of production build techniques
Ideally be an experienced prototyper or at the very least, an experienced fabricator
Have experience in operating circular saws, CNC's, V Groovers and Lasers
Have an understanding and use of AutoCAD drawings
Good attention to detail
Good time management
Able to demonstrate a problem solving mentality
Strong communication skills
Carry out other duties as required
