Pattern Maker/CNC Operator

Are you a CNC Operator with Pattern Making experience looking for a unique opportunity to join a fantastic team at our foundry in Telford?

At PAM Building we are looking for a Pattern Maker/CNC Operator to work in our Pattern Making Department, helping to produce and maintain our site pattern tooling to ensure our production plants have the correct patterns to produce quality castings.

This Pattern Maker/CNC Operator role will be a part of the Pattern Making team which is a small but crucial skilled team at the heart of our foundry.

In return for your skills and experience we can offer you a competitive salary, bonus, pension and a 4-day working week (alongside lots of flexible benefits). The hours of work are 6am - 16.10 Mon-Weds, Thurs 6am - 15.25 with a day off on Fridays.

What we're looking for:

Excellent knowledge and experience of pattern making.
Ability to set and operate a CNC machine
GCSE Maths, English and Science or equivalent
Computer literate
Welding and braising experience would be an advantage
Experience of working with 2D and 3D drawingsWhat you will be doing:

Produce new patterns arising from pattern development, liaising with our technical department to ensure accuracy and viability
Maintain existing core and pattern tooling including repairs and modifications
Promote continuous improvement in all areas of the plant
Set and operate CNC machines
