Job title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased
Salary: £39,300 Plus Overtime
Location: Port Talbot
Holiday: 33 Days
Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer, fully electrical or electrically biased and looking for an exciting new opportunity? Would you like to join an established, multi-site, successful manufacturing business based at its Part Talbot facility?
The Role:
As the Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing breakdown cover to keep a busy, fast paced manufacturing plant running through the shift.
Duties will include:
Reactive maintenance of up to 15 production machines
Liaise with other key stakeholders
Fault find
Carry out running repairs to ensure shift productivity is not affected, whilst further additional repairs are planned
The Successful Candidate:
Qualification in relevant electrical engineering
Ideally time served apprenticeship
Minimum of 3 years, recent experience in a similar fast paced production environment
Some mechanical maintenance experience & ability
Able to fault find and carry out necessary repairs
Able to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings
Hours Of Work: Panama shift pattern
6am to 6pm - 2 days, then 2 days off
6pm to 6am - 2 days, then 2 days off
6am to 6pm - 3 days, then 3 days off
6pm to 6am - 3 days, then 3 days off
Repeat the above
In Return:
Salary £39,300 plus overtime paid at x 1½ & x 2
33 days holiday
