Customer Support Officer

Join a local organisation in helping increase recycling and reduce waste within the county of Conwy.  This role involves engaging to promote sustainable waste management practices and improve recycling participation.

In the Customer Support Officer role you will be:

Oversee all aspects of recycling and waste minimisation in an assigned community area.
Visit non-participating households to provide advice and information on recycling.
Implement new recycling schemes by distributing information literature and recycling containers.
Advise the public and other stakeholders on recycling and waste minimisation through various communication channels.
Respond to requests for new or replacement recycling containers.
To be successful in the Customer Service Officer job you will have:

Good understanding of sustainable waste management
IT literate including all Microsoft packages 
Experience in a community engagement / customer service skills
A full UK drivers licence 
This is a full time temporary role for a minimum of 6 months. Based right on the public transport route in the Centre of Colwyn Bay. This role offers an hourly rate of £12.38 per hour + holiday pay
