H9 Technical Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a Global Renewable Energy Company who develop, build and operate Solar PV and BESS projects across the world. We are looking to hire a UK Country Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, expand the project base and increase the project development market share of the country or region.

Role and Responsibilties:

Develop and implement business and sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives in the UK market.
Conduct photovoltaic/ BESS/ Wind market research to identify project development opportunities in the country or region and develop strategies to take advantage of these opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business partners and customers.
Manage the project development process, including prospecting, qualifying and closing business, and ensure that project development goals are met for projects that reach the status at which construction can begin (RTB).
Stay abreast of market trends, current legislation, and government policies related to renewable energy in the UK.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Finance, to develop and implement strategies that align with business objectives.
Develop and manage the national or regional budget, ensuring that expenditures are within budget and revenue targets are met.
Provide regular reports to the Chief development & M&A Officer on the progress of the project portfolio, including project statuses, management feedback and forecast dates.
Ensure that all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated previous experience in leadership and management roles in the renewable energy sector or related industries.
In-depth knowledge of the energy market and policies related to renewable energy in the United Kingdom.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop effective business strategies and achieve sales goals.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
University degree in relevant areas such as Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or similar. A postgraduate degree or MBA may be considered a plus.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
