Our specialist sectors are manufacturing, contact centre, office support, human resources, finance, sales and marketing. is pleased to recruit on behalf of an established business based in the Pontypridd area. As their company continues to grow, we seek an Administrator to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance and commercial department, providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the purchasing of materials and equipment by coordinating with the team and suppliers.
* Prepare and distribute project-related reports, such as progress updates and budget summaries in monthly meetings with commercial and finance team
* Support the project team in tracking project expenses, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Monitor budget allocations and alert management to any discrepancies or potential cost overruns
* Monitor and track project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Assist in the preparation of project documentation.
* Organise and manage site documents on software system (training provided).
* Provide general administrative support to the team including organising paperwork, answering phones, and responding to enquiries from clients, sites or supply chain.
* Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other project documentation as needed.
* Identify, manage and reconcile supplier rebates.
* Provide general administrative support to the construction team as needed.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) And familiar with online cloud-based document control system.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
