HR Assistant
Leicester
To £25k depending on experience plus bonus
We are looking for a dedicated HR Assistant to join our client’s team and work alongside the HR Advisor in supporting the Head of HR. This role involves providing proactive, high-quality, people-centred services across the full employment life cycle and covering business travel arrangements for the PA to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the HR Inbox, providing first-line support on all queries and referring complex issues to the People Operations Advisor or Head of People Operations.
• Assist with casework issues for employees including informal disciplinary and grievance cases, intermittent absence management, and welfare concerns.
• Help maintain HR policies
• Maintain accurate data within the HR Management System.
• Monitor key metrics including recruitment, training, and absence.
• Assist in resourcing and recruitment, liaising with external recruitment consultants
• Review and update Job Overviews.
• Provide guidance on the selection processes.
• Contribute to the development of an effective onboarding/induction process for all employees.
• Maintain the Training Platform and assist in coordinating the delivery of training plans.
The Person :
• CIPD Level 3, working towards or with a desire to achieve Level 5.
• Effective verbal and written communication, delivering messages clearly and concisely.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail in processing casework to accurate and quality standards.
• Thorough knowledge of human resource best practices and current UK employment legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
