Trainee Print Operator / Print Assistant

Location: Desborough, NN14 area (Own transport preferred due to location and shift hours)

Employment Type: Permanent / Temp to Perm

Salary: Up to £13.25 per hour (£12.25 basic hourly rate + £1.00 per hour attendance bonus paid monthly)

Shifts: Rotating Days and Nights - 4 ON 4 OFF (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am)

Benefits: Overtime opportunities available

Start Date: Immediate start available

Job Description:

* Prepare inks in advance for all scheduled print jobs

* Interpret job specification sheets accurately

* Maintain cleanliness in ink storage, plate room, and print areas

* Adhere to Company Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines

* Perform other reasonable tasks within your trained capabilities as requested

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not required (full training provided)

* Basic mechanical knowledge or experience

* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

* Attention to detail

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines

* Seeking a long-term position

* Comfortable with rotating shifts (Days and Nights)
