Clinical Practice Educator - Critical Care

Are you an experienced Critical Care Clinical Practice Facilitator or an ambitious Band 6/7 Critical Care Nurse seeking a challenge in London? Stroud Resourcing is working with an award-winning healthcare provider to find a Clinical Practice Educator for their welcoming and dedicated Critical Care Team. This role comes with a generous salary of £57,000 and excellent benefits. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours across Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00. No on-call, no nights and no weekends!
 
It’s an exciting time to be joining the hospital! They are proud to have a ‘Good’ CQC rating and offer a range of complex services including Neuro, Spinal, Cardiac, Orthopaedics, Oncology and more. This well-equipped, busy hospital has 200+ beds, a 20+ bed ITU, 4 operating theatres and 38 consulting rooms.
 
As the Clinical Practice Facilitator for Critical Care, you will work closely with the Critical Care Team to facilitate a positive learning environment. You can also expect to:

Assess practice gaps comparing competencies to actual practice within clinical teams and identify learning needs.
You will plan educational content delivery with learner engagement and provide staff with the resources and education to implement changes.
Through research and data, you will support strategic planning and identify opportunities to support improvement in customer satisfaction and patient experience.To apply for this Clinical Educator role, you will need to be an NMC Registered Nurse with previous experience treating Critical Care patients. Prior experience as a Clinical Practice Facilitator is desirable but we also welcome applications from accomplished Band 6/7 Critical Care Nurses who have experience mentoring and developing nurses and are looking to step up into their first education position.
