Lead Usher- On Call

The Lead Usher will be responsible for assisting the Box Office Supervisor in daily operation of assigned events, including supervision of box office staff.
Position Responsibilities
 
Sells tickets for upcoming entertainment events
Offers suggestions, and provides descriptive information pertaining to entertainment events
Discusses time preferences, seating arrangements and rates with customers to make proper sale of entertainment tickets
Responsible for the issuance of reserved tickets to guest
Work in partnership with reservations, entertainment and casino marketing to ensure superior guest service
Assists with preparation of Department work schedules
Ensures proper service to all guests through effective leadership of usher and box office staff
Effectively handles any situation concerning guest and employees, resolution of disputes, seating requirements and other matters pertaining to the satisfaction of the customer
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
 
 
Essential Functions
 
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel area
Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible shift hours
Must have ability to sit and work from a computer for extended periods
Must have manual dexterity to allow for inputting of data into computer software and be capable of viewing computer monitors for extended periods of time
 
Requirements
Box Office experience or equivalent hotel /casino experienced preferred
High school diploma or GED
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Must be customer service oriented
Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
