Our client, are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Finance to join their fast paced organisation. This is a pivotal senior leadership role working for a large organisation in a highly complex and regulated business. Providing financial guidance and support to key stakeholders being the Board, Committees, Directors, Senior Business Managers and Group functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Head of Finance, you will be:
* Ensuring senior business managers actively manage financial performance in order to minimise risk and increase the success and operational efficiencies to deliver objectives.
* Providing clear guidance, and advice on financial management ensuring compliance to legislation and good practice in order to deliver financial performance.
* Reporting and prepare information for the Executive, Directors and other key stakeholders, to support decision making, business planning
* Ensuring accurate management and statutory accounting information is recorded, maintained and reported to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and robust decision making.
* Build strong working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Managing the finance function to include performance management, recruitment and development of quality people ensuring your teams are appropriately skilled and qualified to meet business needs
* Management and contributing to projects and change programmes in support of the company’s values and objectives.
WHAT YOU NEED
To be considered for the role of Head of Finance , you will need:
* Previous experience in a similar Senior Finance role in a regulated industry e.g. Built environment, Energy Sector, Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecommunications, etc.
* Must be fully ACCA or CIMA qualified
* Proven experience of managing a financial services function in a large, complex organisation
* Proven track record of demonstrating commercial acumen, achieving results
* Working knowledge of financial regulations and good practice principles
* Proven experience of undertaking statutory and management accounting
* Commercial and current, with a growth mindset. Used to an agile environment, managing change, with process improvement and business transformation experience.
* Some experience of managing acquisitions and business integration
* Comprehensive experience of managing and developing people
* Analytical approach with Advanced knowledge of Excel
* Proven experience of working with Board, Committee members, Senior Managers and Directors
