HGV Class 1 Drivers for days & night shifts needed in Plymouth!!
Pure staff are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Plymouth location.
Pure Staff are currently looking for enthusiastic & experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join the team of flexible employees to work with this specific client.
Our client is a large well-known company, and they currently require ongoing HGV Class 1 drivers to work with their current team.
Drivers working day shifts will be required to complete up to 10 to 15 drops of Palletised loads per run.
Drivers working night shifts will be required to complete trunk runs to the pallet network to collect/deliver loads.
Our clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive a C+E Articulated lorry successfully but can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries and collections are completed.
This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients stores personnel have the best experience with the driver as possible.
Start times can vary but normally between:
Days - 0500 to 0800 starts Monday to Friday
Nights - 1800 to 2000 starts Monday to Fridayshifts can be long hours but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift normally.
The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have -
A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License.
Minimum of 6 months experience.
Valid CPC Card.
Valid Digital Card.
Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.Pay rate:
DAYS- £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE
NIGHTS- £16.75 per hour Monday to Friday PAYEAdditionally, to the pay you will accrue Holiday pay payable with 7 days' notice of booked holiday. You will also be enrolled after 3 months into a pension.

Refer an HGV/LGV driver and after they have worked for us for 400 hours or about a month of continual work the referee will receive £200. T&Cs apply.
