Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs in a mainstream secondary school setting? GSL Education is seeking dedicated SEND Support Staff to join our team in Barking and Dagenham. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with additional needs.
Location: Barking and Dagenham, London
Position Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract, 5 days a week
About the Role:
Provide support to students with special educational needs in a mainstream secondary school setting.
Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized support plans.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion and empathy for students with special educational needs.
Previous experience working with individuals with SEND is desirable but not essential.
