Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Inspector to be based in Austin, Texas.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing or leading inspection duties. Performs or leads field inspections and/or audit duties and maintains inspection records. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
Provides on the job training to new employees.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
Performs or oversees daily field inspections and maintenance of inspection records.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Tracks quality assurance progress.
Provides oversight on documentation quality.
Working specifically on TxDOT projects will provide inspection services
