Semi Senior/Accounts assistant position within a top 100 UK accountancy practice, with an office in Rugby. They are constantly looking to grow, and have grown 20% in the past 2 years, and are looking to continue this growth.
They are looking for an ambitious candidate with a minimum of 2 years UK accountancy practice experience. They can provide study support, and some training for the right candidate and can offer a variety of progression opportunities in the long term
Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview
Bookkeeping and Accounts Management - Maintaining up to date financial records for a client portfolio, processing invoices, receipts, payments, accounts payable and receivable. Assisting in preparation of accounts and financial statements
VAT and Tax compliance - Preparing and submitting VAT returns, assisting in corporate and personal tax preparation
Client relations and interaction
Administrative support - preparation and maintenance of financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets
Team collaboration - Effectively working with other team members
Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements
Minimum of 2 years UK accountancy practice experience is essential
AAT Level 3 is preferred, or higher
Ability to hit the ground running
Able to commute to Rugby 5 days a week
No requirement for visa sponsorship
Semi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration
Salary ranging from £23-26k depending on experience
