Are you ready to lead workforce planning and blue-collar resourcing for one of the UK’s most significant projects? Altrad Services UK is seeking a dynamic MEH Strategic Workforce Planning & Blue-Collar Resourcing Manager to optimise resource strategy and workforce planning at the HPC site. * Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement resource strategies to ensure project success.
* Comprehensive Oversight: Manage both strategic workforce planning and blue-collar resourcing, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources.
* Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, delivery partners, and operations teams to align workforce needs and maximise utilisation.
* Talent Development: Oversee the recruitment process, develop talent pipelines, and ensure resources are equipped and ready to start work.
* Safety and Culture: Foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture and act as an ambassador for MEH on-site.
What You’ll Do:
* Resource Strategy: Develop and implement workforce resource strategies with delivery partners, including contingency plans for scarce resources.
* Demand Management: Manage the 16-week demand plan and ensure internal workforce moves are efficiently managed.
* Planning and Analysis: Liaise with the MEH Planning team to capture resource histograms and scenario planning, and analyse data to recommend improvements.
* Recruitment: Oversee HSO recruitment with Learning & Development (L&D) and delivery partners, ensuring timely provision of SQEP workforce.
* Onboarding: Ensure onboarding processes are timely and effective, liaising with the MEH Onboarding team to equip and ready resources.
* Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, providing dashboards and reporting for leadership decision-making.
* Talent Management: Manage talent pipelines, including apprenticeships and upskilling initiatives, and oversee Succession Planning.
* Skills Planning: Provide regular updates to the Employment & Skills plan and liaise with clients to identify and mitigate skills risks.
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree or equivalent, with a professional qualification in Project Management or HR/Resourcing (preferably CIPD).
* 10+ years in senior management within an industrial unionised environment.
* Proven success in large-scale projects in the nuclear or regulated sector.
* Effective communicator with senior leadership experience.
* Strong, collaborative leader with a positive, “can-do” mentality.
* Ability to secure BPSS clearance.
