Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing
Multi-Skilled Maintenance
4 on 4 off (nights and days - 12 hours)
Overview
This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer who is looking to move on to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and have extended time off between shift rotations. As a maintenance engineer, you will be joining an growing team in a supportive environment. You will ideally be electrically biased with supporting mechanical experience.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer
Proactive maintenance and site PMs
Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
Working across mechanical faults and maintenance
Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
Experience working in a maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry
Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
