£30,000 - £41,333 Per annum

The Head Teacher of a Catholic Primary school is looking to appoint a temporary outstanding practitioner. You will be joining a friendly and forward-thinking school. You will also have access to excellent CPD opportunities; training to deliver a Mastery Maths approach, Shine! Reading, Read Write Inc and KAGAN Collaborative Learning Strategies.
You must be:
An inspirational teacher.
Someone who will complement our strong team ethos in our drive to maintain our high standards, academically, socially and emotionally.
Committed to high expectations of pupils in all areas.
Key Responsibilites:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students
Assess and evaluate pupil's progress and provide constructive feedback
Implement effective behaviour management strategies in the classroom
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance
Follow safeguarding policies and code of conduct in school
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Excellent planning and marking skills
Proficiency in teaching Phonics
