I am currently working with a Basildon engineering company who require an experienced Paint Refinishing Technician to work a rotating earlies/lates shift pattern Monday to Friday 05:30 – 14:00 and 13:30 – 22:00
The role:
In this specialised role you will be responsible for carrying out high level refinishing to a wide array of parts within the paint department. The work will include:
Handling painted parts with due care and attention
Creating a high gloss finish by polishing
Rectifying any faults found in painted surfaces
Carrying out maintenance to tools and machines
Quality checking
The candidate we are looking for will have:
Extensive experience in a similar role
Very high attention to detail
Be proactive and innovative
Have the ability to prioritise workload
The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained environment
