We have partnered exclusively with an expanding aviation company to recruit an experienced and ambitious System Analyst with strong project management experience.The successful candidate will be part of an expanding Business Systems team and will be responsible for the development, support, configuration, administration and continuous improvement of business applications and processes. You will also be involved in new system implementations and business process reengineering. This role would be ideally suited to someone who has worked in a Design/Engineering environment in the past using 3D Experience and wants to get into systems development / change management and guiding a team through upgrades and business process improvements. You will be required to liaise with external software suppliers; this can range from well-established vendor relationships to relationships with new vendors and suppliers. As a member of the Business Systems team, you will also act as a liaison between the wider business and our software partners to make sure there is on-time delivery that satisfies project requirements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support systems used throughout the business include day to day usage, upgrades and new product implementations. Troubleshoot and investigate problems arising throughout the engineering and production environment. Participate in the development and documentation of operational standards and procedures in relation to application services. Liaise with all sections of the business to ensure the provision of a fully integrated, efficient, effective, and customer-focused applications service. Proactively monitoring and managing the performance of business systems and using trend analysis to prevent business-affecting problems arising. Participate in the provision of technical expertise in the specification, procurement, and implementation of application related products, systems and services for the organisation to function efficiently. Communicate with stakeholders regarding change management, system performance, and business needs to maintain relationships and provide an effective service to ensure continuous improvement.REQUIRED SKILLS: Degree in Technical Related Subject or equivalent professional experience Experience with PLM Systems. Knowledge of Engineering methodologies/practices. Experience working with 3D Experience in a design capacity. Ability to build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and subject-matter experts and to influence peers and senior stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team, showing a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.DESIRABLE SKILLS: Experience of supporting products/services within a complex IT environment. Experience with as is, to be process mapping and modelling Business Processes. Creating and maintaining User Acceptance test plans for new and existing software. Coordinating User Acceptance testing and feedback for new software and software upgrades. Experience with change management.
