School Catering Supervisor

Aspire People is proud to be partnered with a prestigious school in Preston, Lancashire, which is currently seeking a Catering Cover Supervisor for a short-term role this summer.

As a catering professional, the successful applicant will have experience in preparing meals for a large number of people- in this case, for school staff and students- and will be able to adhere to all relevant food hygiene and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities of the role will include:
-Preparation of delicious and high-quality food to entice and satisfy students and staff alike
-Creating attractive food and counter displays
-Complying with Food Handling and Hygiene Standards
-Complying with Health and Safety regulations

We're looking for a candidate that can deliver this with positive attitude, who can demonstrate a passion for catering and service. We're looking for a team player who thrives under pressure but who also has a safety-first mindset. Someone with experience catering in schools would have an advantage, but this isn't essential as long as you have catering experience.

You must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service to be considered for the role, or be willing to purchase a new DBS.
