Digital Marketing Manager (Temporary Maternity Cover)

Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover) until May 2025
Salary: £35,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our client’s team in Preston on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave until May 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a thriving company and make a significant impact on their marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

* To create and execute digital marketing strategies and plans

* To manage digital marketing channels including the website, SEO, PPC, paid social and email marketing

* To manage a team of digital marketing specialists

* Work with our PPC agency on campaign management and reporting, with a focus on web traffic and ROAS

* Manage budgets across web, paid social and PPC

* Work closely with the Content Manager to deliver engaging assets across digital channels

* Support the success of marketing campaigns by hitting agreed targets and delivering on KPI’s.

* Ensure the digital marketing output is fully optimised through reporting and analysis to review activity and make recommendations if necessary

* Oversee the testing and optimisation of digital marketing channels to increase effectiveness

Qualifications:

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing manager role with strong understanding of PPC, web, email and social media

* Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team

* Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies

* Experience using Google Analytics 4 and Meta Ads is essential

* Experience using analytics to report on digital campaigns and the ability to compile reports to make informed recommendations

* Strong analytical ability to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple digital channels and customer touch points

* A flexible approach combined with great organisational skills and the ability to deal with multiples projects at any one-time, prioritising workloads to meet often challenging deadlines

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines

* Target-focused with a strong commercial awareness and business acumen

* A pro-active, energetic and self-motivated ideas person who enjoys multi-tasking with excellent communication skills
