General Foreman
£275 – 325 per day
Long term contract – project up to 4 years
Based in Leicester, East Midlands
I am currently recruiting for a General Foreman / Supervisor to work on a major civil engineering project based in Leicester.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client specifications and requirements are met
Reviewing progress and liaising with commercial team
Liaising with the client, other construction professionals
Coordinating and supervising construction workers
Selecting tools and materials
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
Maintaining quality control procedures
Ordering Plant and Materials
Collation of documents and As Built Records
Record Keeping and report writing
Client liaison and coordination/interface
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working as a Site Manager, General Foreman or Supervisor
Hold SMSTS/SSSTS
First Aid at Work, Fire Marshall, CSCS or equivalent
Experience working within the civils sector – highways / water beneficial
Previously worked with Tier 1 contractors
Have full right to work in the UK
