We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Pump Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company within their respective field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

Carry out basic mechanical testing to establish pump condition
Accurately assess and observe damage and wear on various machines
Undertake works to a high standard on a first-time fix basis where possible Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time Must be methodical and accurate and make notes and reports during the disassembly process
Ensure exceptional levels of customer care Work independently as well as part of a teamSkills and Qualifications

Hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering advantageous but not essential Previous experience within a
Mechanical environment/ pump industry is essential Experience of rotating equipment as well as route cause analyses and measuring
Be able to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work Use industry equipment correctly and safely during the repair processBackground: Manufacturing
