Setting out Engineer

Linsco are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to start work on a construction site in Leeds at the start of July.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project, including setting out, kerbing, and drainage works. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Ideally you will already have your own kit.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise road improvement projects from inception to completion.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager.Technical Oversight:

Conduct site surveys, measurements, and assessments to determine project requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
Ensure proper installation of surfacing, kerbing, and drainage systems.Health and Safety:

Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Promote a culture of safety among the construction team.Documentation and Reporting:
