Process Unit Facilitator

Salary: Up to £70,000

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 38 hours

Job Details:

Supports the Process Unit Head in the coordinating and planning of all Process Unit activities (logistics, project work, services, resources and budget/costs) in a way that is consistent with a culture of self-direction (empowerment and accountability). Ensures full compliance with quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), customer service, statutory, regulatory and Novartis requirements of all process unit activities.

Provides and executes a midterm / tactical plans to ensure the current and future needs of the Process Unit are fully met, adequately resourced, compliant, and delivered on time. Drives continuous improvement of the overall performance of the PU with end to end view to the Global Operations needs. Acts as deputy of the PU Head in all Process Unit activities in absence or by specific delegation (including personnel management)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Translates organizational objectives into a tactical plan to enable the Process Unit to plan future activities to deliver all targets
Economic management of costs and investments (e.g., by efficient planning and utilization of technical and human resources)
Drives continuous improvement in all SPS dimensions, including Production Systems (MRP2), TPM and LEAN Manufacturing Innovation, Quality, Productivity (OPEX) production and other processes/procedures to enable Process Unit performance to remain competitive and compliant with an "end to end" view to the Technical Operations needs, coaches OPEX projects
Ensure compliance with General GMP and HSE policies and GMP and HSE procedures including risk assessments and accident prevention
Harmonises and sets standard of production related processes within and across PU's
Develops and strengthens the Compliance Culture Enhancement Program (CCEP) by facilitating and promoting empowerment and accountability, acts as a lead ambassador in accordance with STADA Values
Transfers his knowhow proactively, cares for the network of experts and facilitators across the site and with other sites
Project Manager/-member of local and international projects, acts as SPOC/Turntable for assigned projects
MRP2 KPIs for PU, Throughput time, process cycle times, Overall Asset Effectiveness (OEE), change-over optimization, inventory levels for all production processes in the PU
Cost and budget
Out of Expectation (OOE), Out of Specification (OOS) and quality critical deviations, for all production processes in the PU
Accident and incidence rates
Successful audits/ inspectionsQualification & Experience

Degree (FH, Masters) in Pharmaceutical/ Chemistry/ Engineering or Biology
Fluent English
Extensive/practical experience as process expert with experience in an operational quality position.
Proven Leadership experience with further potential.
