We are delighted to be working exclusively with a brand-new opening in North Yorkshire who are recruiting an experienced Sous Chef to work with their talented Head Chef in developing the offering and delivering a high-quality fresh & seasonal menu.

We are wanting to speak to talented, driven chefs who have a pure passion for cooking and the sector and want to grow with the business as it embarks on a strong 5-year plan with expansion and development opportunities, you would need a background in fresh food kitchens ideally Rosette environments.

If you are local to North Yorkshire this role is commutable from York, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon & Northallerton and transport would be essential.

Role:

Supporting the Head Chef daily.
Ensuring all food preparation is completed and ready for service.
Ensure that chefs in your charge are preparing and plating dishes to the correct specifications.
Be an active part of the training team for junior & new employees.
Ensuring all health & safety is up to date.
Deputising for the Head Chef when required.Requirements:

Proven experience in a Sous Chef level
Food Safety qualifications
Relevant catering qualifications
