Chef de Partie or a Commis Chef, required for our client, a prestigious hotel opening soon in Broadway, Worcestershire. This location is a beautiful place to live and work in the Cotswolds. Live in is available.

This property can also accept a couple or friends, for other job roles such as Bar Supervisor / Water / Waitress roles.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to be a part of the launch of this hotel. The role of Chef de Partie or as a Commis Chef, will allow you to work in a 28-cover restaurant, and you will be someone who will be a part of, and work closely with the management team to create a unique dining experience using the best produce in the British Isles.

As Chef de Partie or as a Commis Chef, you will be passionate, experienced, adaptive and creative. We want someone who can work well in a team.

As Chef de Partie, you will be a Team leader and Mentor.

As Commis Chef, you will be someone who is keen to learn.

You will help build a solid team and work closely with the Head Chef and Sous chef to push the hotel forward at all times, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge with passion.

What we expect for the role of Chef de Partie:

* To prepare food from seasonally changing menus.

* Preparation, production, and service of food to the standard required in a timely and efficient manner.

* Practice and promote effective teamwork and communication amongst your direct work colleagues and colleagues in other departments

* Ensure compliance with in-house HACCP and food hygiene, health, and safety systems to ensure compliance.

* Completing duties with an attitude of always striving to exceed standards to promote improvements and raise the quality of feedback from all guests.

* To maintain the day-to-day operational standards of the kitchen

* To manage own kitchen section during service

* To take responsibility covering all areas of kitchen operations.

* To prepare reports including recording food temperatures

What we expect for the role of Commis Chef:

* Monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors

* Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals

* Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings

* Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items

* Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary

* Plates meal items under the chef de parties supervision

* Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies

The salary for this opportunity of Commis Chef and Chef de Partie is given as £12/hr up to £15/hr, plus a share of the service charge in addition. Live in is available if you are looking to relocate. Part-time hours also considered, if you live in the local area.
