PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEER
Location: Near York
Salary: Depending on experience
We are recruiting on behalf of our client near York for a Product Support Engineer, who will play a pivotal role in laying the foundations for the future of their support functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating new platforms and digital content to enhance our client’s support services, ensuring their products are suitable and compliant for market and end-user requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products meet customer and market requirements.
Develop and manage product build, test, and production procedures.
Conduct online product demonstrations and create engaging digital content.
Provide technical insight into Sales and Marketing literature.
Log and review all customer support inquiries.
Manage and oversee end-product cycle testing to meet or exceed market requirements.
Assist the R&D department as required.
Oversee first article testing and technical bulletins.
Ensure products fulfil customers’ requirements from a technical and commercial standpoint.
Successful candidate will have:
HND, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Sound hands-on technical background with good tool skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Background in a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience producing technical documentation and supporting information.
Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role.
