White Label are excited to be working with an engineering fabrication specialist in their search for an Estimator / Project Engineer to join their team, based near Wakefield.
Our client supplies into industries such as renewable energy, thermal storeds etc and due to a very busy order book, they are looking to interview immediately for an Estimator / Project Engineer.
The Role:
* As the Estimator / Project Engineer, you will receive the enquiry, review the customers drawings, specifications or data sheets and produce quotes from these
* Price up materials from suppliers and produce an estimate for the labour hours and projects
* Collate all the costs and produce the quote
* Follow up the quote with the Customer
* Process the order and log it onto the system
* Have an internal handover meeting with quality, design and production and coordinate the project
* Weekly updates with the customer throughout the project
* Deal with any issue or changes
* Projects can take 16-20 weeks for completion, and you will be managing 3-4 projects at any one time
The Person:
* Must have a strong background in Internal Sales producing quotes
* Ideally have a good understanding of heavy fabrication engineering
* Must have a good engineering knowledge and be able to read technical drawings
* Be confident on the phone speaking with Customers
Salary and Package:

* Working hours are 8am-4.30pm and 3.30pm finishes on a Friday
