About the role

The Strategy Team is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of key transformation and strategic projects and programmes in support of Skills for Care’s strategy. These posts will play a key role in ensuring Skills for Care delivers its strategy and maximises impact for the Adult Social Care sector.

The Senior Strategy Project Manager will ensure successful definition, planning and delivery of strategic and back-office projects and programmes. Bringing excellent strategic thinking, strong facilitation skills and a balance of diplomacy and challenge, you will play a pivotal role in our transformation journey, to achieve our organisational vision and adapt to an evolving market context.

Your role extends beyond project management; it's about orchestrating transformation and change throughout our organisation. From project inception to final implementation, you'll ensure alignment with our strategic objectives and adapt to market shifts.

Central to your role will be defining projects with precision. With a high degree of financial acumen, you'll craft compelling business cases that justify investment and clarify paths to success, analysing benefits, costs, and risks.

Your ability to navigate stakeholder relationships will be crucial. Working closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners, you'll ensure alignment, consensus, and understanding.

This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced project or programme manager with demonstrable strategic thinking to support the implementation of Skills for Care’s strategy and create a demonstrable positive impact on social care and social care workforce.

The post is home-based, with occasional travel and flexible working available.
