Our client, a reputable educational institution, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a School Cook Manager. You will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to students, empowering them to thrive academically and lead healthy lifestyles. Responsibilities:

Take charge of planning and preparing meals for the school, ensuring compliance with nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements
Lead and manage a team of dedicated kitchen staff, mentoring and supporting them to deliver exceptional results
Oversee stock management, including ordering and organising supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimising waste
Proactively maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practises, complying with relevant regulations and conducting regular inspections
Collaborate with teachers and school officials to understand and accommodate students' specific dietary needs and preferencesRequirements:

Strong experience in cooking and knowledge of food preparation techniques, including catering for large groups
Exceptional management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver outstanding service
A thorough understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations, with a valid food hygiene certificate
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders
The ability to work well under pressure and deliver excellent results in a fast-paced environment
