Maintenance Engineer

SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Division are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work for our client based in Keighley on a permanent basis.
Role Duties & Responsibilities
* To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including shrink wrappers, conveyors, generators, chillers and bottling machinery
* Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine down time to a minimum
* Electrical repairs to motors, drivers, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays, contractors, sensors
* PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults- Recording and commissioning all fault findings
* ·Assisting with projects and the installation of the new plant- communicating
* Effectively with the engineering manager
* Assisting the developing and implementing line improvements, new installations, office repairs
* Planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the engineering manager
* Must be prepared to work across two sites in Keighley and Grassington
Essential Experience Required
* Relevant Apprentice training or relevant qualifications
* Electronics/ PLC
* Pneumatics
* Mechanical engineering
* Mig Tig welding
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Fault finding and maintenance experience
* Experience in the food and drinks manufacturing industry
Core hours of 48 hours per week, based around 5 days per week, Monday - Saturday.
Salary: £17.50 per hour, £43,680 per annum, plus company pension
