Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their team.
Remit:
* As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will have expert knowledge on all aspects of the inputs and outputs of the injection moulding machine and process with the confidence to train others and delegate responsibilities to trainee setters.
* This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to secure position with a forward-thinking company going through an exciting time of growth and transition
* Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills.
Role:
* Implementing production and processing tool changes
* Ensuring availability of material tooling and ancillary equipment
* Working alongside the trainee setters and technicians
* Ensuring that all process changes are carried out with maximum efficiency.
* Patrol of moulding machines, ensuring production and quality are maintained.
* Carrying out complex fault rectification
* Setting up complex tool changes
* Maintaining company objectives on quality, delivery and environmental policies
* Alongside the training manager lead training with both setters and trainee setters
* Maintenance of cycle times
* Adherence to production KPI’s
* NCP control and reduction
* Adhere to high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter
* Trained to IMT Level 2 level or equivalent.
* Knowledge of injection moulding processes and machine inputs and outputs
* Experienced in injection moulding tool insert/tooling part changes
* Ability to work on own initiative and independent when required
* Good timekeeping and attendance
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Computer literate
