Remuneration: £48,000-£54,000 + 30% uncapped bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Automatic Door Systems will involve:

* Files sales role selling a well-known manufactured range of revolving doors, speed gates and door automation systems

* Working as one of three dedicated field sales professionals covering the London market, working in conjunction with two specification field sales managers

* Selling into min contractors, façade contractors, security contractors end users and other specialist sub-contractors

* Responsible for a £2.2m revenue target (this patch achieved £4m 2 years ago, so huge amount of scope)

* Oder values typically £70,000-£80,000, but up to £250,000+

* 90% f your time will be sent responding to enquiries, minimal amount cold calling

* 5-10 customer visits per week, but this is flexible

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Automatic Door Systems with:

* Must have field sales experience in the construction industry selling to contractors

* Open to most technical sales backgrounds such as associated products to the building envelope/ fabric of the building (even employed concrete backgrounds)

* Product knowledge can be taught, however any understanding of revolving doors, speed gates, security access, robust turnstiles, wide lane access, entrance systems, access control, gate automation or security may be of interest
