Location: Wrexham

Salary: up to £25k

Hours: Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)

Acorn by Synergie have an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join an award-winning company located in Wrexham.

As a Credit Controller your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts owed to the company. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong financial stability by managing credit accounts, assessing creditworthiness, and developing positive relationships with customers.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage and maintain credit control procedures to ensure timely payments from customers.
Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to assess creditworthiness.
Resolve customers queries and disputes related to invoices and payments.
Monitor and chase outstanding invoices through telephone, email, and letter communication.
Provide regular reports on credit status, outstanding debts, and collections activity to management.Skills and experience required:

Previous experience in a credit control or related field.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft packages

The successfully candidate should be detailed-oriented, proactive and possess strong communication skills.
