Our client has an array of Quarries, Surfacing, Readymix and Precast plants, which supply a wide range of heavy building materials to the construction industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Accounts Administrator to work as part of a dedicated finance team to deliver efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

The main areas of responsibility will include matching, checking and coding invoices, enter and upload invoices onto the system, prepare supplier payment runs, reconcile accounts payable transactions, liaise with suppliers, maintain accurate records and keep information confidential, provide administrative support to on-site management on a daily basis, ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health and Safety and observe and comply with all good working practices within the office

To qualify, you will be educated to GCSE level or above (including English and Maths – grade C), excellent experience of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, excellent communication skills, excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, be proficient in high volumes of data entry, demonstrate an ability to work to a high level of accuracy, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Its desirable that you have experience of using SAGE accounts
