Technical Product Manager Demand Forecasting

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced demand forecasting models and algorithms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive innovation and optimize our demand forecasting capabilities.
This role requires a strong technical background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning. The ideal candidate has previous experience in demand forecasting, preferably in a retail or e-commerce setting.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of demand forecasting models and algorithms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define the product roadmap
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure accurate data collection and model training
Analyze and interpret demand forecasts to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
Monitor and evaluate the performance of demand forecasting models on an ongoing basis
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in demand forecasting
Drive continuous improvement of our demand forecasting capabilities through innovation and optimization
Requirements
Requirements:
7+ yrs experienced technical product manager who can work with the business in understanding the process. Also should have implementation experiences in Demand forecasting and replenishment - preferably in retail / e-commerce space.
Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
Previous experience in demand forecasting, preferably in a retail or e-commerce setting
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
