Managing Quantity Surveyor

Location: Burton Upon Trent
Work Style: 2/3 days site based / 35 hours
Project: Substation/ Energy
My client is looking for an MQS for a 3-month period to assist with projects such as Substation’s (New and Refurb) and OHL.
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of our Commercial team who are responsible for managing all commercial aspects of a project in terms of liaising with the client, internal and external reporting and managing third party interactions.
Do you have Experience in the following..
• Experience within energy Sector
• Worked On Substation Projects
• Contract law NEC 3 & 4, Option A, C & E
• supporting a project team
• Subcontract Management
• Cost / value reconciliation
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Project Management skills
• Contract experience, capturing site records for variations and valuations.
• Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Excellent negotiating interpersonal & communication skills.
