Lead Engineer

Our Client is looking to recruit a Lead Engineer with a background in heavy plant machinery repair, to complete PPM and Reactive maintenance, this role will transition into a Maintenance Manager role as our client moves to their new site.
What you can expect in this role:

Complete planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of different machinery (Conveyors, Electromagnets as well as maintaining their skips on sight using MIG/STICK welding)
Organise the maintenance workshop, ensuring a right control of inventory for materials and equipment.
Day to day machine breakdown resolution
Arranging subcontractors for PPM and reactive maintenance
Creating Maintenance plans for new site, and creating a database for logging maintenance.
What we need from you:

Be an experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 4 years Industrial / Manufacturing or related experience, NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.
Have previous experience in a fast paced engineering environment.
Be able to support a team and work together to overcome challenges
Be able to work under your own initiative
Able to arrange subcontractors to complete work on site
Be able to create PPM plans and lead a team to complete them.
Must be able to Weld (MIG/MMA)
