Our client in Southampton are looking for an established CNC Miller to run a HAAS VM3 Mill with HAAS controls.
Job Description & Main Duties:
* To set and operate a CNC Mill HAAS VM3 to produce components to specifications.
* Programming online and developing and modifying CNC programs
* Reading engineering drawings and understanding ISO tolerances
* Identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions in the process.
* Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines.
* Working to safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met set by the management team.
The Ideal CNC Miller:
* Will be confident in setting and operating CNC mills.
* Have HAAS experience or similar transferable controls.
* On-line programming - any level of experience of programming.
For the right individual there will also be an opportunity to learn offline programming too, so this could be a fantastic move if looking to progress your skills.
Hours: Day Shift 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: £35,000 - £41,000 plus bonus.
