Mobile Plumber
We have an excellent opportunity to join the team based at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
We are recruiting a Mobile Plumber to join on a temp ongoing basis working 8am-4pm Monday – Friday.
The salary for this role is £18.50 per hour.
This role does have the potential to go permanent if wanted.
What you will be doing –
Working alongside a dynamic maintenance team you will deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard. You will undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance within the department, providing technical guidance, assistance and information to other members of the team.
Other duties include -
* Carry out installation, service and maintenance on site.
* Have an awareness of the operational procedures and safe working practices.
* Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines.
* Maintain records and complete reports as appropriate. Providing regular reports on progress to your line manager
* Carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works.
Who are we looking for?
* A background in Domestic & Commercial Plumbing and Drainage.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety.
* Happy to work within a healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of TMV’s and Legionella Control is an advantage.
* Good working knowledge of the requirements of Scottish Health Technical Memoranda would be advantageous.
* City & Guilds, S/NVQ or equivalent qualification with a governing body such as SNIPEF Key
