Planning Administrator

Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Hybrid/Smart Working)

Salary £27,693 Per Annum Plus Benefits

Temporary, Fixed Term Contract until March 2025

Full Time, 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday, Flexibility Negotiable)

Thrive Homes is looking for a Planning Administrator to work within the Property Services department assisting with the daily management of Operative’s diaries and planning repairs works for reactive, planned and emergency repairs.

Other Responsibilities:

* Prioritising emergency works.

* Booking appointments and allocating work to the available operatives and following works from start through to completion.

* Ensure all relevant repair information is updated in a timely manner.

* Liaising with tenants and Operatives to arrange repairs.

* Effective communication with internal and external customers.

* To carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Organisations repairs process and responsibilities as well as ensuring great customer care standards.

* Co-ordinating reactive and planned works for our engineers to ensure attendance within agreed SLAs in the most efficient way possible

* Liaising with clients to ensure access and customer satisfaction for reactive and planned works – raising permits to sites when required

* Liaising with operatives to book in follow on works and return visits and ensure that overdue work orders are kept to a minimum.

* Raising works orders and updating in-house systems.

* Housekeeping within our Housing Management System – QL. Ensuring that orders are issued and completed with the relevant values. Ensuring that all orders have an appointment allocated to them at the earliest opportunity.

* Pursuing compliancy repairs – where there is an issue with gaining access, to ensure that we are always compliant.

Requirements:

* Strong experience within a similar administrative role

* Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a planning or property services.

* Good IT skills

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear guidance and advice to customers.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
