Crimson Tide mpro Limited has an exciting opportunity available for a Software Project Manager to join our team based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role is hybrid, with three days based in the office a week.

The Software Project Manager role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Software Project Manager to join our outstanding Customer Operations team. As a Software Project Manager, you will be our customers’ path to value as part of the Customer operations function. You will be the face of the company and the owner of project health for complex implementations. In implementing mpro5, work alongside our implementation teams to scope, manage, deliver and present to customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities as our Software Project Manager include:

Scoping projects in collaboration with the customer, product owners, architects and designers. Organise requirements into a backlog and a set of releases, managing the expectations of all stakeholders.
Explaining and setting up an agile delivery model (Kanban / Scrum etc.) to deliver the project in shippable increments.
Assisting with defining, standardising and producing project reports and templates.
Managing the customer relationship during project delivery.
Predicting resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Preparing a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
Tracking project costs to meet budget
Developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan
Do re-planning, using metrics at an appropriate cadence throughout the project.

What makes you our ideal Software Project Manager:

Experienced in the delivery of projects in an agile environment
Experienced Scrum Master, with experience of other project frameworks of Kanban
Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated with a focus on product quality
The ability to work independently, excellent personal organisation and able to demonstrate consistently balanced good judgement and logical thought prioritisation
Solid interpersonal skills
Committed to the development of all team members and continuous development of capability within the department
A genuine interest in problem-solving and focused on results - Experience in the use of tools and techniques to facilitate practical project delivery Exposure to - or awareness of all phases of software development projects including analysis, systems design, development and testing approaches
Experience using Jira, Confluence or similar tools for software development, support tickets and documentation
