The Company
This leading manufacturing and engineering company based in the Midlands, renowned for their innovative solutions and commitment to product quality are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Financial Controller to join their Senior Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring robust financial management, providing strategic insights, and supporting the overall business growth objectives.

The Role
As the lead for all finance-based activity across the business, the Plant Financial Controller will be crucial in driving financial performance, enhancing cost efficiency, and ensuring the companies compliance with all financial regulations. You will develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls and compliance while monitoring and analysing financial performance in order to provide insights and recommendations to the Managing Director, senior management team and the board of directors.

The Person
As an experienced and proven Finance Manager / Finance Lead within a manufacturing and engineering environment, you will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant experience in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws relevant to the UK market and a proven track record of driving financial performance and implementing effective financial controls within a busy production based environment.
