Alecto Recruitment are looking for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians for an independent garage in the Solihill area. If you have the experience and passion for automotive maintenance and repair, along with the necessary qualifications and experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work.
Conduct MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations, ensuring vehicles meet legal safety and environmental standards.
Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently and accurately using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining repair options and recommendations clearly to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.Requirements:

Experience at diagnostics and also need to include jobs such as cambelts ,clutches , engines and all other Mechanical work.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Full UK driving license.Repair, Maintenance & Installation Occupations: 10 years experience (required).
