Overview:
An exceptionally busy manufacturing business is seeking an established, high end CNC Turner due to rapid growth.
Responsibilities of a CNC Turner:
Setting and operating CNC machinery.
Creating, loading and modifying CNC programs.
Carrying out inspection of one’s own work and final inspection on others.
Ensuring all parts are manufactured to drawing and specified tolerances.
Work scheduling.
Stock management.
Profile of the successful CNC Turner:
This position is ideally suited to a multiskilled person, with experience of Fanuc/Siemens controls, AutoCAD, Jetcam NUM controls.
Applicants must have a sound engineering background.
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
Competent in the use of measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, height gauges and micrometers
